SEATTLE -- After a 10-10 tie at the break, the Seahawks used a strong start to the second half to top the Dallas Cowboys, 27-17, on Thursday night at CenturyLink Field in the third preseason game of 2016.Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Trevone Boykin each led touchdown drives in the third quarter, with Wilson scrambling to find receiver Tyler Lockett for a 9-yard score to cap a six-play, 70-yard drive highlighted by a 43-yard toss to receiver Tanner McEvoy, and Boykin using his legs to run for a 16-yard score capping a nine-play, 72-yard drive.After being held scoreless in the previous two preseason games, Seattle's starting offense was able to put points on the board in four of its six drives, including two touchdowns, one from Wilson to Lockett and the other from Wilson to Paul Richardson, and two field goals from 27 and 53 yards out off the foot of kicker Steven Hauschka.
