Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson avoided serious injury but might miss the first game of his career with a sprained knee, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll allowed the day after Wilson limped to the sideline during a Week 3 win over the San Francisco 49ers.Carroll said on his Monday morning radio show that Wilson was diagnosed with a sprained MCL during an MRI exam.Carroll said it turned out "exceedingly well" after Wilson treated the injury overnight.
