BELLEVUE, Wash.—(Sept. 6, 2016)—As King County students head back to school, Symetra and the Seattle Seahawks kicked off the 11th season of the Symetra Heroes in the Classroom teacher-recognition program.Seahawks mascot Blitz was on hand to help present the new school year's first Heroes award to Apollo Elementary School teacher Susan Harper during a Sept. 2 surprise assembly at the Renton Highlands K–5 school."Susan Harper gives the gift of reading to her students.

RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks first-round pick Germain Ifedi suffered a high ankle sprain during Wednesday's practice and is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks, according to a league source.Ifedi was in line to be the team's starting right guard, but now the Seahawks will have to do some shuffling as they prepare for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.Right guard Germain Ifedi, the Seahawks' first-round draft pick, is expected to miss at least three weeks due to a sprained ankle, a source tells ESPN.
